Wise Tips for Business
Disorganisation
One of the things that we often encounter in businesses we visit is DISORGANISATION – sometimes it’s the boss, sometimes it’s the team members individually, sometimes (but fortunately, not veryRead moreThe Power of Conducting a Swot Analysis
Don’t under estimate the power of conducting a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis. When we are working with clients this is usually completed quite early on in theRead moreThe 4Pillars of a Thriving Business
Successful businesses are built on solid foundations.
We call them the 4Pillars; Financial management, Operational efficiency, Strategic planning, Customer experience.
For each pillar it starts with getting the basics right. Then, like any good engine, make sure you keep all the moving parts well oiled (monitored and managed).
When I work with business owners I always look at the detail first. These are often the things that are neglected, left to run on autopilot, or it's assumed someone else in the business is looking after it. Or worse, it doesn't matter!
Improving business performance is as much about keeping on top of the basics as it is about big ideas and special initiatives to drive more money through the front door. Poor management of the basics I liken leaving the backdoor open, allowing your profits - and sometimes your hard earned reputation - to drain away.
We call this leakage. Leakage is bad, but easily fixed
So, 4Pillars make up a business. Doing the basics right gives you a solid foundation for growth and sustainability. Stopping leakage is easy, once you identify how/why it's happening.
If you need a little help getting your 4Pillars in order, DM me for chat.

Breton's attention to detail and his ability to communicate succinctly has been very valuable. He has great knowledge and is very professional in all his activities with us. We have managed to achieve goals, which we have set with his help, which may not otherwise have been achievable.
Definitely an asset to our business.
